Contact array transducers

Small Footprint Linear Arrays

small footprint arrays for removable wedges and with integrated wedges

Applications

These transducers are designed for applications with reduced transducer access, or with surfaces
with complex geometry where good coupling is not possible: Inspection of turbines, blade roots and fine welds.

General Characteristics
  • Footprint < 8 x 8 mm2
  • Center frequency 5 to 15 MHz
  • Number of elements: 8 to 20
  • Other characteristics similar to standard linear probes

Options

  • Hard face for use in direct contact
  • Integrated wedge
  • Other options similar to standard linear probes
